CASE STUDY: PERSONAL FINANCE MADE SIMPLE WITH ARGENT CASHFLOW
SITUATION
Argent Cashflow wanted to engage individual clients directly—people looking for clarity, control, and peace of mind around their personal finances. After successfully targeting financial advisers with a prior explainer, Argent needed a consumer-friendly companion piece: something that simplified the platform’s benefits and reassured users that managing money didn’t have to feel overwhelming.
TASK
77 Productions was commissioned to create a 66-second animated explainer video that would:

Connect with everyday Australians dealing with financial stress or disorganisation

Demonstrate how Argent helps users track, organise, and secure their financial life

Balance playful tone with real-world value, while maintaining compliance language

Convert viewers via a clear, low-pressure call-to-action (e.g., sign up or book a chat)
ACTION
We developed a relatable, lightly comedic narrative featuring a bobblehead character juggling financial tasks—from bills to retirement planning—before discovering Argent Cashflow. The video combined:

Smooth 2D animation with cheerful, empowering motion design

Clean dashboard UI mockups to show real-time tracking, budgeting, and document storage

Visual metaphors (e.g., vaults, goal trackers, dumbbells) to make security and automation intuitive

Throughout the piece, we made a complex product feel accessible, human, and empowering—aligned with Argent’s brand promise.
RESULT
The video quickly became a cornerstone asset on Argent’s website, landing pages, and email campaigns. It boosted engagement with prospective users, supported higher conversions, and gave the brand a relatable, visual voice that helped demystify financial organisation for direct clients.
