Dremel by Bosch
Power in Your Hands: TVC Series for Bosch’s Dremel Multi-Tool
SITUATION
Bosch Australia needed a visually engaging, high-energy TVC series to promote their flagship DIY product: the Dremel High-Speed Multi-Tool System. Designed for a wide range of users—from weekend hobbyists to pro-level makers—Dremel offers versatility, precision, and creativity in one compact tool. The ads needed to celebrate that diversity and functionality, while keeping things fresh, inspiring, and highly visual.
TASK
77 Productions was engaged to produce a multi-part TVC campaign that would:
-
Communicate the core features of the Dremel Multi-Tool System
-
Demonstrate key accessories and attachments in action
-
Appeal to both creative beginners and skilled tradespeople
-
Elevate the perception of Dremel as a serious tool for ambitious DIY projects
-
Work across broadcast, digital and retail screens
ACTION
We brought the Dremel system to life through a vibrant series of short-form TVCs:
-
High-Tempo Visuals: Crisp, close-up shots of the Dremel in use—engraving, polishing, sanding, cutting—each edit synced tightly to a custom soundtrack for maximum impact.
-
Tool + Project Focused: Each spot highlighted not just the tool, but the transformation—cutting tile, engraving wood, or polishing metal—creating satisfaction and clarity for viewers.
-
Layered Motion Graphics: Informational overlays were used to name specific attachments and accessories (like the EZ SpeedClic system), reinforcing product knowledge without slowing down the pace.
-
Mixed User Representation: From hobbyists to pros, each ad reflected a broad demographic, making the Dremel system feel inclusive and empowering.
-
Modular Editing: Built to be adapted for multiple formats and channels—TVC, social, retail in-store loops, and online.
RESULT
The final campaign delivered multiple punchy, polished TVCs that demonstrated Dremel’s full system value in under 30 seconds each. Results included:
-
Increased customer interest across Bosch’s DIY retail channels
-
Strengthened Dremel’s positioning as a creative and practical tool
-
Broad relevance across audiences—from weekend DIYers to professional crafters
-
Seamless deployment across TV, YouTube, retail kiosks, and social platforms
Bosch was thrilled with the outcome—clean, dynamic, on-brand, and audience-focused.
