Unsomnia – UNSW

77 Productions was invited to create the visual concept and design theme for UNSW’s event, Unsomnia. Run by the University’s Grand Challenges Program… the program is an internal-facing series of events where researchers and academics discuss the grand challenges facing humanity.

UNSOMNIA…short talks for restless minds… tackling the big issues that keep us tossing and turning at night, imagining the inconceivable and envisioning the future, UNSW researchers have just 10 minutes each to explain the lives we’ll be living in the future.

The campaign is mostly still assets for print and other online digital asses. For online motion assets, UNSW was after gif-like animations that showed the 3D neon tube flickering off and on.
